From the Romantik Hotel, the route leads via Aufderhöhe and Höhscheid through Solingen to Burg an der Wupper. Arrived at the Burger cable car, you climb the 150 meters to the castle with the original chair lift. Through Leichlingen and Burscheid we drive through meadows and forests into the valley. Here stands the Altenberg Cathedral, also called the "Bergische Dom". It was built from 1259-1379 according to French models. The adjacent fairytale forest invites children and adults to let their imagination run free.
A refreshment in the Altenberger Hof, which is located directly next to the cathedral and has more than 8oo years of history. Or an ice cream in Odenthal (season)
